SLOANE’S GIN
A lovely little dry gin made by Sloane’s in the Netherlands. It is named after the 18th century botanist Sir Hans Sloane, who is said to have discovered many of the plants used to flavour gins today. A hearty handful of those botanicals have gone into Sloane’s gin, including iris root, coriander, angelica root, cardamom pods, liquorice root and whole vanilla beans. Rather interestingly, Sloane’s individually distill each of these botanicals for their gin, resulting in a unique flavour profile that seduces the palate.
