Description
Domaine Gros Frère et Soeur, Vosne-Romanée
Seeing the “Gros” (pronounced “Groh”) surname on a wine label means something: Few other families in Burgundy can match the reputation and quality that an assortment of Gros’ estates achieve year after year. Today, it’s Domaine Gros Frère et Soeur. This is one of our personal-favorite addresses in Burgundy, namely because they produce a range of top-tier Grand and Premier Crus from the world’s greatest Pinot Noir village: Vosne-Romanée. So yes, you can splurge on this village-level bottling knowing that you’re flirting with the most exorbitant Pinot real estate in existence. Expect a plush, velvety red adorned with deep, tightly-knit aromas of baking spice and earth.
