Sometimes one needs a break from wine and we have the perfect elixir to dive into with the Mommenpop Ruby Grapefruit. This is the offspring of a collaboration between husband-and-wife duo, winemaker Samantha Sheehan and renowned label designer Michael McDermott. This aperitif is made from natural ingredients: wine (sourced from Sonoma), citrus, and select spices. Low in alcohol and deeply flavorful. Crafted in Napa from a base of Pinot Noir Rosé. Samantha adds Napa-distilled brandy to fortify, and then fresh, local, organic grapefruit peels, rose hips, grains of paradise, Angelica, star anise, green cardamom, coriander, ginger, and cinnamon. There are no additives, flavorings, or dyes. Fans of Aperol and Campari will fall head over heal for this aromatic wonder. It will elevate an array of cocktails from a Negroni to a Manhattan.
