Winemaker Notes

Fine tiny bubbles and a long lasting mousse are the usual footprints of the L’Ermitage cuvee. This cuvee is showing great notes of apricot tart and hazelnut. The mouth feel is smooth, velvety, creamy with a well enveloped citrus acidity and long finish.

The 2009 L’Ermitage by Roederer Estate Brut Sparkling Wine is amazing. From the first sniff to the final aftertaste, this wine delivers unbelievable aromas and flavors, such as brioche and stone fruits. Incredibly persistent on the palate, the wine lasts and lasts. Easily one of the world’s best sparkling wines at this price, which makes it the finest deal in the marketplace. One could spend two to three times the price and not even come close to matching the quality found here. Drinks well now.
